Markli Home Builders, contracting professionally under the same name for over 30 years has been licensed from the Atlantic to the Pacific and the Gulf of Mexico beginning in Maryland in the late 1960's, in California, Texas and many other states in the 70's and 80's. Since 1987 we have built nearly 200 homes and two WalMart shopping centers in East Tennessee including homes for many local media personalities, prominent individuals and executives of some of the areas most successful companies, three of the area's top producing realtors, and lots of just plain nice folks.No higher compliment can be paid a builder than that over the years we have built 2nd, 3rd and even 5th homes for many of our clients.

The Markli name has now become synonymous with high quality architecturally significant homes and Bob has become an icon of the West Knox homebuilding scene. As the most prolific builder in Smithfield, the only builder in Wyndham Hall, as the developer/builder of Berkeley Park; in Vista, Northshore Cove, Fox Cove, Fox Den, Fox Run, on private estates throughout the area, as the Southern Living Custom Builder Program Member for Roane and Anderson Counties 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, in Ladd Landing and now also in Highland Reserve in Kingston, the Markli name has a way of turning up in all the right places.

A responsible neighbor and devoted pillar of the industry, Markli Home Builders is a past member of the prestigious Southern Living Custom Builder Program, Gold winner of the 2002 and 2006 Parade of Homes, and Silver and "Perfect Score" winner in 2007, member of the National Association of Home Builders, the Home Builders’ Association of Greater Knoxville, the Farragut/West Knox Chamber of Commerce, the Knoxville Area Chamber Partnership, the Farragut Visual Resources Review Board, and the HBAGK Governmental Affairs Board, Alderman for the Town of Farragut since 2009 as well as many other personal, political, spiritual and social affiliations.

Bob, an East Tennessee native, is an artisan craftsman builder with over 30 years experience.
He personally manages the siting and construction of each home.
